With all of the advertising and different types of food available in grocery stores as well as in fast food locations and in the advertising we see almost on a daily basis. We must learn what is best for our children and ourselves to eat.
There are so many things we need to learn about so that we can determine which ingredients are healthy for us and which are harmful. Good health is essential for all of us.
There are so many items which we need to learn about. Some include where fats are hidden in our foods, and exactly what “sodium” really is and how much is within healthy limits. We must learn what “Trans-Fats” really means and how we can over eat it without realizing the true volume we may ingest.. Including our knowledge we must include the safety of the different “spreads” which we put on our foods, and which type are the best for us. Another “need to know” is to learn what types of steaks are better for us than others Believe it or not, there is a real difference between frozen, fresh, and canned goods, and how to chose them.
Research has shown us how essential certain vitamins are to our immune systems. This specific item has been known for many years, yet the quantity of one of the vitamins is not included in most multivitamin packaging.
We are all interested in finding a safe way to better health. Hippocrates made the following comment:
“If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we could have found the safest way to health”.
Now it is time for us to learn which foods are beneficial to us and which can cause us health problems.
